Improving Research Capability in Algeria

Started in October 2021, the Algeria Research Hub seeks to improve research capacity, public-private collaboration, and both domestic and international research cooperation among Algerian and North American universities to transform research into socio- and economically-viable innovation. Through these activities, the Research Hub will promote innovation-led, socioeconomic growth across Algeria. This Algeria Research Hub website serves as a central repository for project information, in-country workshop resources, asynchronous learning, and grant opportunities in Europe and the United States.

This website was co-created by the National Higher School of Mathematics in Algeria, NHSM; the National Higher School of Artificial Intelligence in Algeria, ENSiA; Center for Advanced Development and Technology, CDTA; and the Pulte Institute for Global Development, which is part of the Keough School for Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. The Algeria Research Hub is funded by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Algiers.
